HEC Announces Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program
The Pakistan Higher Education Commission has issued an invitation to apply for the Ehsas Undergraduate Scholarship Program. The main goal of this program is to provide financial support to students so that they can continue their education in the bachelor’s degree program after completing the intermediate. The program provides funding for a variety of expenses, including actual university tuition fees, compulsory tuition fees (excluding non-tuition fees such as electricity bills, dormitory fees, transportation costs, etc.), and 40, 000 per annum.
New entrants to the HEC-recognized public sector universities in the fall 2021 session are eligible to apply.
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria should provide accurate information while filling the application form.
Scholarships will be awarded on merit to students for degree programs approved by the Higher Education Commission.
The age limit for candidates is determined by the rules and regulations of the institution.
Candidates benefiting from any other scholarship are not eligible to apply for this program.
How to apply?
Candidates are required to fill and submit online application form through HEC web portal.
After submitting the online application form of Ehsas Undergraduate Scholarship Project, the applicant has to take a print out of the application form and attach supporting documents which include the applicant’s copy of CNIC / B. form, CNIC copy, pay slip. / Includes income certificate. , Utility bills for the last six months, copies of rental agreement in case of rental house, copies of last fee receipts of applicant and siblings (if applicable), copies of documents related to medical bills / expenses (if applicable) Apply), 01 passport size photography of the applicant and 01 photo of the house from the front.
A hard copy of the application form along with the required documents should be submitted only to the Student Financial Aid Office of the University.
The University’s Scrutiny Committee reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on the information provided on the application form.
Incomplete application forms will be rejected by the concerned authorities.
The Institutional Scholarship Awards Committee of the universities will interview the eligible candidates and then award the scholarships.
Recipients of the scholarship award will have to sign a contract agreement on stamp paper as per the instructions of the commission.
The University’s Financial Aid Office will issue the final scholarship award letter to the candidates.
Under no circumstances can scholarships be transferred to other universities / educational programs / academic sessions.
Scholarship funding will continue until next semester / year subject to satisfactory academic performance.
If the information provided in the application form is found to be incorrect during any stage of selection, the candidate’s application form will be rejected.
The deadline to submit an application form for the Undergraduate Scholarship Program is November 30, 2021.
