In July 2008, Daniel Camara and Mitra Khoubrou created Pink Tank, a boutique consultancy and think-tank providing advisory services in research and culture. Based in Dubai, Pink Tank builds on its work over the past 4 years in the fields of
knowledge and culture. Combining management and research experiences at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Switzerland, Dubai Holding and the cultural scene in Dubai, Pink Tank manages research and cultural projects of importance for the Gulf Region.
In the past, the two partners launched successful publications such as the Arab Business Intelligence Report with PricewaterhouseCooperts and the Al Manakh with Rem Koolhaas. They also organized important platforms such as the WEF Middle East Summits from 2003 to 2005, the Young Arab Leaders Annual Meeting in 2005, the Arab Strategy Forum in 2006, the India-Middle East CEO Forum in 2006 and the International Design Forum and Initiative in 2007. The two partners also collaborated on a number of cultural projects in Al Bastakiya.
In 2009, Pink Tank’s projects include a participation in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Arab Women Leadership Outlook, to be published in June 2009 and the second edition of Al Manakh. Pink Tank also provides advisory services to private and governmental institutions on strategy planning and on the creation of cultural initiatives. Camara and Khoubrou regularly contribute to various publications and magazines.
