Al Manakh 2 Launches in Abu Dhabi : May 13

UAE papers reported the launching today of a new media campaign and its logo: “We are all emirates.” Fitting well with Sheikh Mohammed’s recent speech in which he countered the opinion that there are feuds between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the campaign aims to show that unity is a means of showing an exit from the financial crisis.

“Dubai’s top property exhibition, once the stage where multibillion-dollar developments were announced, will be a smaller and more reflective affair this year as the cash-strapped industry licks its wounds.”

Marmooka City, a proposed city for the Emirate of Ajman, UAE. The emirate has been the focus of recent discussions about the region’s lack of regulatory systems for development. According to Construction Week, the project has been downsized — from 260 towers to 20.

Last week’s Cityscape Abu Dhabi was the first significant real estate show in the UAE since crisis was considered a force to be reckoned with in the Gulf economic landscape. (read more)
