Al Manakh 2 Launches in Abu Dhabi : May 13


Rem Koolhaas and curator of the ADACH Pavilion Catherine David engaged in a conversation with Ole Bouman on the curiosities and conditions that has drawn their practice and vision to the Gulf

An elite panel of international urban planning and sustainability experts was addressed by Mr. Salem Al Qassimi, Planning Manager - Estidama, on Abu Dhabi’s innovative sustainability approach and plans to achieve the highest levels of sustainability, while seeking to transform Abu Dhabi into the sustainable Arab Capital and a major international economic hub.

The team responsible for Al Manakh 2 is expanding its network in the Gulf with researchers, correspondents and photographers. Yesterday, March 16, Rem Koolhaas one of the editors of Al Manakh gave a lecture at the Sharjah Biennial 9, sharing his experiences in the Gulf region over the last five years.

Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council becomes the exclusive sponsor of the 2nd Edition of Al Manakh. The presence of H.R.H. Prince Willem Alexander, Crown Prince of The Netherlands marks the agreement signing ceremony.
